Job summary

Tech Impact in Wilmington, Delaware, is seeking a Workforce Development Program Manager to lead and support the Delaware region's workforce development programs. You will oversee the regional program team, provide instruction, career development, and wraparound services to participants, and build strong relationships with partners.

The role emphasizes high-quality program delivery, staff development, expanding opportunities, and alignment with Tech Impact's mission.

Qualifications

• Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED accepted.
• Flexible schedule with possible evening or weekend hours.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with CRM databases and LMS is preferred.
• Experience working with diverse communities is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in workforce development programs preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in outreach and relationship development.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight of regional program delivery to ensure operational excellence.
• Oversee delivery of regional workforce programs including recruitment, screening, instruction, student support, and job placement assistance.
• Coordinate class schedules, staff meetings, and community events with team members.
• Monitor program outcomes and support enrollment, retention, and placement goals.
• Act as escalation point for complex program issues.
