Monticello is seeking a Property Manager for an apartment building in Westchester County, NY. You will oversee daily operations, manage budgets, and serve as the primary contact for residents to drive satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in residential property management, preferably multifamily.
• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and applicable housing regulations.
• Demonstrated financial acumen, including operating budgets, rent collections, and financial reports.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred in real estate or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a multifamily property in Westchester County, ensuring maintenance, compliance, and budgeting.
• Serve as the primary contact for residents, addressing inquiries and service requests to boost satisfaction and retention.
• Collect rent, manage delinquencies, enforce lease terms, coordinate evictions with legal counsel as needed.
• Prepare and manage annual operating budget; monitor income/expenses and report variances to ownership and asset management.
• Coordinate and supervise on-site staff and third-party vendors for maintenance, repairs, landscaping, and capital projects.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety issues; seek opportunities to enhance value.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations, including Fair Housing requirements.
• Maintain records and prepare timely operational and financial reports for ownership and asset management.
