Job summary

SC Thrive is seeking a Grants Manager to lead grant development, manage revenue opportunities, and ensure compliance across funded initiatives. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, track deliverables, and steward relationships with foundations and sponsors.

The role focuses on identifying opportunities, writing compelling proposals, managing post-award activities, and reporting outcomes to support organizational growth. Remote work is available with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of grant writing, grant management, nonprofit development, fundraising, or project management experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with outcomes measurement and reporting experience.
• Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or social services organizations preferred.
• Knowledge of SC nonprofit funding landscape and certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate grant, contract, sponsorship, and revenue opportunities that align with priorities.
• Develop grant proposals, letters of inquiry, budgets, and supporting materials.
• Coordinate proposal development for accuracy, compliance, and timely submission.
• Maintain funding prospect records, calendars, deadlines, and reporting obligations.
• Manage funder database and ensure accurate records of opportunities and engagements.
• Assist leadership in diversifying and strengthening revenue.
• Oversee post-award activities, including reporting and renewals.
• Ensure compliance with funding agreements and organizational policies.
• Track expenditures with operations and finance to ensure budget adherence.
• Maintain systems for tracking deliverables, timelines, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams as internal project manager for funded initiatives.
• Document all proposals, contracts, and compliance records.
• Build and maintain relationships with funders and partners.
• Monitor funding trends to identify opportunities that fit priorities.
