Job summary

Thrive Colorado seeks a Development Director to lead fundraising, grant strategy, and donor stewardship. You will leverage a Denver network to engage foundations, banks, and church leaders, coordinating with a mature faith-based mission and a strong emphasis on relationship-building.

The role combines strategic fundraising leadership with hands-on donor management, reporting to the Executive Director. This is a full-time, hybrid position designed to scale Thrive’s impact along the Front Range.

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit development and fundraising required.
• Must be comfortable with a faith-based mission and organization.
• Experience in faith-based nonprofit organizations preferred.
• Strong networking and donor stewardship skills.
• Excellent communication and strategic planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and lead comprehensive annual development plans to diversify and grow Thrive’s donor base.
• Cultivate and steward relationships with major donors, foundations, and church leaders across Colorado.
• Oversee the grant process and provide grant strategy, editing, and reporting to expand funding.
• Develop revenue forecasts and track key development metrics to report to the Executive Director and Board.
