Job summary

Tri-County United Way in Wisconsin is seeking an energetic Resource Development Manager to advance our mission by fundraising, donor engagement, marketing, communications, and community partnership development across the service area.

You will develop and implement fundraising strategies, coordinate workplace giving, sponsor relationships, grants, and donor stewardship while collaborating with donors, businesses, volunteers, and partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, business, fundraising, or a related field preferred.
• At least one year of relevant experience preferred.
• United Way experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual fundraising strategies and campaigns.
• Build and strengthen relationships with donors, businesses, sponsors, and community partners.
• Coordinate workplace giving campaigns and employee engagement initiatives.
• Create donor stewardship and recognition plans to retain and grow support.
• Research, write, and support grant proposal development.
• Develop marketing materials, digital communications, and social media content.
• Support major donor cultivation and planned giving efforts.
• Help increase awareness of Tri-County United Way's impact throughout the community.
