Job summary

Encompass seeks a Development Manager to lead annual fundraising and donor stewardship, building mid-level donor relationships and future pipelines. The role works with the Director of Community Impact to grow engagement and philanthropic support.

You will plan campaigns, manage events, and cultivate sponsors and partners while collaborating with leadership to tell donor impact stories. This is a mission-driven nonprofit opportunity in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 3–5 years of fundraising or donor relations experience required.
• Experience managing campaigns, annual giving programs, or sponsorships preferred.
• Experience cultivating relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners preferred.
• Experience with donor management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement fundraising strategies and annual development plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, corporate partners, and community supporters.
• Manage annual giving campaigns and donor engagement initiatives.
• Identify and develop prospective donors to strengthen future gifts.
• Lead corporate engagement, sponsorships, and employee engagement opportunities.
• Develop donor stewardship, recognition, and engagement strategies.
• Plan and execute fundraising events like Annual Celebration and President's Luncheon.
• Support grant-seeking efforts with research and proposal development.
• Collaborate with leadership to share donor impact stories.
• Maintain donor information and engagement reports.
• Support board engagement and donor relationship-building.
• Represent Encompass at community events to promote mission.
