Job summary

United Way of the National Capital Area (United Way NCA) is seeking a dynamic Director, Partner and Volunteer Engagement to lead our partner and volunteer engagement initiatives. You will report to the VP of Community Impact & Engagement and oversee nonprofit partner eligibility, workplace campaigns, and capacity-building efforts.

You will manage a team, align activities with the Strategic Plan, and foster collaboration across departments to drive measurable community impact and partnerships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in nonprofit, community engagement, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead partner and volunteer engagement initiatives, aligning with strategic plan.
• Oversee nonprofit partner eligibility, workplace campaigns, and capacity building.
• Coach and develop the Partner and Volunteer Engagement team; drive performance metrics.
• Collaborate across departments to deliver measurable community impact.
