Breakthrough T1D is seeking a dynamic fundraiser in Washington, DC to lead revenue and engagement efforts across events, volunteer programs, and community outreach. The role calls for collaboration with volunteers and partners to grow support and participation in our mission.

You will represent Breakthrough T1D at events, cultivate donor relationships, and help educate the community about research and clinical trials. Local travel and some evenings/weekends are required.

Formación

• 2+ years fundraising experience with revenue responsibilities over $250k and large-scale events.
• Experience partnering with a large network of volunteers and organizers.
• High energy, integrity, courage, empathy and creativity; team player who supports the chapter.
• Proven ability to manage event details, timelines and deadlines under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Fundraising & Engagement: drive revenue and growth for the chapter and event portfolio.
• Volunteer Management: engage volunteers and secure funding/support from diverse sources.
• Awareness: promote Breakthrough T1D mission and engage community in research and trials.
• Administration: maintain policies and support event logistics for volunteers and participants.
