Bachus & Schanker, LLC is seeking a Complex Pre-Litigation Case Manager to join our Denver, CO team. You will work closely with clients and attorneys to guide cases through the pre-litigation process, ensuring strong, organized support and timely data entry into Smart Advocate.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of personal injury case management experience.
• Empathy, resourcefulness and drive.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Commitment to superior client service with excellent communication (in person and on the phone).
• Competency in word processing, databases and email systems.
• Ability to organize, monitor, and track multiple activities and projects.
• Discretion in handling and communicating sensitive information.
• Ability to understand complex legal and medical issues.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients regarding the status of their case.
• Regularly communicate with clients about injuries and medical treatment.
• Build relationships and trust with clients.
• Advise clients on updates from insurance companies, medical providers, investigators, etc.
• Communicate with auto insurance companies about injury and treatment status.
• Coordinate with entities involved in medical treatment (Lien, Health Insurance, Subrogation).
• Gather data from medical providers, insurers and investigators.
• Enter data into Smart Advocate case management software.
• Order medical records and bills; note the file of any bills.
• Maintain organized client files and draft settlement correspondence.
• Coordinate with attorneys on case statuses.
• Coordinate meetings between attorneys and clients.
