Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Community Manager for Foundry at Triangle Park, a 312-unit tax credit apartment community in Durham, NC. You will oversee daily operations, maximize occupancy, and ensure resident satisfaction while coordinating with staff and leadership.

A strong background in multifamily management and knowledge of housing programs is essential. Responsibilities include budgeting, onboarding, performance reviews, and maintaining compliance with federal and state housing rules.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree (4-year degree preferred) in related field or equivalent.
• Three years of multifamily property management experience required; tax credit experience preferred.
• Accounting and administrative background preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Yardi experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English) and ability to speak in front of groups. Second language a plus.
• Must be reliable and have exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• Must be able to think independently, work with minimal supervision, and coach, mentor and manage others.

Responsibilities

• Maximize occupancy/collections/appearance/retention/compliance (as applicable).
• Establish and maintain a pleasant atmosphere and relations with residents.
• Maintain visibility, professionalism, and rapport; manage day-to-day operations of the property.
• Meet with staff to review occupancy goals, renewals, and projections; conduct training; performance reviews; HR coordination.
• Handle budgeting, purchasing procedures, and adhere to company accounting directives.
• Coordinate move-ins/outs, review move-out charges, and ensure lease compliance and documentation.
• Respond to resident issues promptly and coordinate with Marketing as needed.
