Career Team LLC in Tacoma, WA seeks a dedicated Career Advisor to support Adult and Dislocated Workers in Pierce County. You will provide intensive case management, guide career planning, determine eligibility, and support participants from enrollment to employment while ensuring program compliance.

Qualifications include 2+ years in counseling or case management, strong computer literacy, and proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience in training, counseling, case management, or related services.
• Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures.
• Ability to work with a culturally diverse customer base and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, web-based case management systems, and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive case management services within the One-Stop system.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on labor market and career trends.
• Complete intake, eligibility determination, enrollment, and service planning.
• Assess jobseekers’ employment and training needs through interviews and assessments.
• Enter data into participant information systems per One-Stop requirements.
• Guide jobseekers through Individual Employment Plans (IEP).
• Counsel clients on job opportunities, training programs and services.
• Assist with ITA vouchers and related program documents.
• Refer clients to appropriate services and follow up.
• Conduct orientations, workshops, and job clubs.
• Maintain compliant, complete case files.
