Job summary
Stellar Energy is hiring for a full-time, non-exempt role based in Jacksonville, FL or Fort Worth, TX. You will read blueprints, prepare insulated metal panels (IMP), perform cutting and welding tasks, and ensure weld-ready status with precise fit tolerances.
Duties include crane/forklift operation and supervising helpers while upholding safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has basic math and reading skills, experience with grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, and cutting sheet
Qualifications
- Basic math and language skills required.
- Grinding, welding, brazing, rigging and cutting sheet metal.
- 1 year related experience or training.
- Some vocational technical training is desirable.
- Ability to read isometric and structural drawings.
Responsibilities
- Cut, prep, fit and tack IMPs, flashing and sheet metal to weld-ready status.
- Measure, align, and weld using isometric/structural drawings with proper tolerances.
- Operate overhead cranes/forklifts and monitor safety procedures.
- Direct and monitor two or more helpers; maintain quality reporting per SEA standards.
- Prepare for ISO 9001 and related audits.
