Job summary

Stellar Energy Americas is seeking an experienced technician for on-site assembly of Insulated Metal Panels (IMP) in Fort Worth, TX. You will read structural and isometric drawings, measure accurately, and prepare components to weld-ready status while coordinating with two or more helpers in a fabrication environment.

You must understand torque, fit tolerance, and use grinders / power tools to complete tasks.

Qualifications

• Basic math and language skills required.
• Grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, and cutting sheet metal.
• 1 year related experience or training.
• 2 years experience with Insulated Metal Panels (IMP) preferred.
• Some vocational technical training desired.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, target point measurements and ensure true/plumb/square alignment.
• Prepare IMPs, flashing, and other components to weld-ready status per drawings.
• Select and cut materials using grinders and power saws to job specs.
• Direct and monitor helpers, while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Operate cranes or forklifts following safe rigging practices.
• Document quality reports per SEA standards.
