Job summary

Stellar Energy Americas Inc. is seeking a full-time, non-exempt Structural Fitter/Welder to join our Jacksonville, FL or Fort Worth, TX team. You will read blueprints, cut and fit structural steel, and prepare weld-ready components for assembly in a fabrication facility.

Responsibilities include installing hangers and supports, using torches and grinders, and maintaining quality and safety standards in a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• Basic math and language skills required.
• Threading, grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, plasma cutting, gas arc cutting.
• 1–2 years’ related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and ensure true/plumb/square checks and torque requirements.
• Cut, prep, fit and tack structural members to weld-ready status.
• Prepare metal surfaces with torches, grinders and saws per job specs.
• Install hangers, supports and braces and monitor safety and quality.
• Operate overhead cranes or forklifts safely and document quality reports.
