Job summary

Fragomen is seeking a Business Immigration Associate in the United States to advise clients on complex immigration matters and lead casework across teams. You will engage with senior stakeholders, develop strategic immigration plans, and contribute to client relationships and revenue growth.

Ideal candidates have a U.S. law degree or equivalent, active bar admission, and 5–8 years of experience in immigration law, with prior leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• U.S. JD or LLM required.
• Member of a US State bar or Washington DC bar association.
• 5-8 years of experience at Associate level.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of immigration law.
• Prior team management experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Dedication to exceptional client service.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, strengthen, and maintain client relationships with key stakeholders, including Partners and client teams.
• Formulate immigration strategies for intricate matters and present concise arguments.
• Engage with clients at middle and senior management levels, offering counsel as needed.
• Serve as a business advisor with a strong grasp of client, industry, and risk factors.
• Independently execute case preparation and filing for complex matters.
• Identify and pursue revenue opportunities and growth within existing client bases.
• Supervise Associates and staff, providing mentoring and performance feedback.
• Lead process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and standardization.
