Job summary

Fragomen seeks a Business Immigration Associate to join a smart, motivated, and diverse team. You will counsel clients, craft immigration strategies for complex matters, and manage multi-step filings with a strong grasp of U.S. immigration law.

You will mentor junior staff, participate in client meetings, contribute to proposals and marketing efforts, and help uphold the firm's standards of excellence while leveraging firm technology and processes.

Qualifications

• U.S. JD or LLM required.
• Bar admission to a U.S. state or Washington DC.
• 5–8 years of Associate-level experience in immigration.
• Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. immigration law.
• Prior team management experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, strengthen, and maintain client relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
• Formulate immigration strategies for complex matters and present clear arguments.
• Supervise associates and staff; provide mentoring and performance guidance.
• Lead process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Support Partners on client proposals, pitches, and RFPs when appropriate.
• Identify opportunities for revenue growth within existing client base.
