Job summary

The Lisinski Law Firm in the United States is seeking an Operational Staff Attorney to review immigration applications under supervision, support clients in obtaining documents, and handle assigned attorney-of-record responsibilities, ensuring timely and accurate work.

You will communicate with clients, attend master calendar hearings when needed, and help maintain organized case records while upholding confidentiality and firm values.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active state bar in good standing.
• EOIR number preferred or plan to obtain within first month.
• Strong research, drafting and document review skills under supervision.
• 0–1 year post-J.D. experience; immigration training provided.

Responsibilities

• Review immigration applications and filings under supervision.
• Coordinate with senior attorneys to develop strategy.
• Prepare and edit responses to Requests for Evidence and court filings.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of filings with case strategy.
• Communicate with clients, often through interpreters, documenting conversations.
• Attend master calendar hearings only as emergency coverage.
