Job summary

Berry Appleman & Leiden (BAL) Boston seeks an early-to-mid-career Immigration Consultant to support high-volume casework and deliver day-to-day client service. The role focuses on case production, routine client communications, and developing procedural expertise across immigration processes.

The Consultant serves as a primary client contact, manages filings with established workflows, and handles essential administrative tasks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational background required or acceptable in combination with experience.
• 0–5 years of business immigration experience; equivalent mix of education and experience acceptable.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage high volumes of work.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for routine client communications and provide timely, professional updates.
• Manage high-volume immigration filings using established templates and case management systems.
• Perform administrative duties such as scanning and filing complex petitions and supporting docs.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure data integrity for client and attorney requests.
• Use reports and dashboards to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Assist with initial case assessments, gather documentation, and draft forms and letters for various immigration petitions.
• Coordinate with government agencies (USCIS, DOL, DOS) to track status, respond to RFEs, and monitor deadlines.
• Build foundational knowledge across immigration case types and stay updated on law and policy changes.
• Contribute to process improvements and ensure compliance with procedures.
