Job summary

Berry Appleman & Leiden (BAL) is seeking an Immigration Consultant to support high-volume casework and deliver day-to-day client service. You will communicate with clients, manage filings, and maintain accurate case records using established workflows.

You will draft forms, coordinate with government agencies, and help ensure compliance while growing foundational paralegal knowledge across all immigration case types. BAL offers competitive pay and a robust benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for routine client communications and updates.
• Handle high-volume immigration filings using templates and case management system.
• Perform administrative duties including scanning and filing complex petitions.
• Maintain accurate and complete case records, ensuring data integrity.
• Use reports to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Assist with initial case assessments and gather required documentation from clients.
• Draft immigration forms and supporting letters for various case types.
• Coordinate with government agencies (USCIS, DOL, DOS) to track status and respond to RFEs.
• Build foundational knowledge across immigration case types and stay updated on changes.
• Ensure compliance and help update internal procedures as needed.
• Participate in training and process improvements; escalate issues when needed.
