Job summary

YWCA La Voz Latina in Rockford, IL seeks an Immigrant Services Coordinator to support the Director of Immigrant Services in coordinating operations and cross-program activities for IFRP, IWC, and NAI. You will help with partnerships, reporting, onboarding, and outreach planning, including documenting opportunities and coordinating staff participation.

You will provide direct client-service coverage when needed, support communications, records, and program logistics, and assist with staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent 3+ years of relevant experience considered.
• Experience as team lead or supervisor.
• Bilingual proficiency required (English and Spanish preferred).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular communication with the Director and program staff regarding outreach, operational needs, and progress toward goals.
• Assist with annual and ongoing program planning, workflows, and budgets.
• Coordinate cross-program projects, meetings, and follow-up tasks.
• Support onboarding and professional development for new staff.
• Monitor community resources and policy changes; share timely information with the team.
