Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in College Station, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the IMCU/Telemetry unit on night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), 36 hours per week. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to adults with complex cardiac and medical conditions.

As a Telemetry RN, you will assess patients, interpret telemetry, develop care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and a high-quality

Qualifications

• RN license is required and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac conditions, telemetry monitoring, and acute-care settings.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor telemetry and respond to rhythm changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document assessments and interventions in the EMR.
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and discharge instructions.
• Prioritize care for multiple patients during night shifts.
