Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 40-bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). You will deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adults with complex medical and cardiac conditions requiring higher monitoring and care than a traditional unit.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• RN license is required.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments.
• Closely monitor patients and escalate concerns to promote safety.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and care needs.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
