Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 40-bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). You will provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adults with complex medical and cardiac conditions requiring higher monitoring, developing care plans, administering meds and therapies, and documenting responses.

You will work with physicians, nurses and the health team to coordinate care, follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act, delegate tasks appropriately, and maintain accurate

Qualifications

• Graduates must have completed an accredited nursing program.
• RN license or eligibility to obtain one in Texas.
• BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide care to adults with complex medical and cardiac conditions requiring high observation.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments per standards of care.
• Document patient responses accurately in the EMR and monitor for changes.
