Job summary

Bozeman Health Imaging Care Technician assists licensed technologists with patient preparation, imaging workflow and procedure support for MRI, CT, and other studies. You will help with check-in, room turnover, specimen handling and discharge activities, ensuring safe, efficient patient care within scope of practice.

The role emphasizes collaboration with care teams, timely communication, and adherence to department procedures while maintaining a patient-centered approach in a dynamic radiology

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists technologists and radiologists with patient preparation, exam setup, imaging studies, interventional procedures as assigned.
• Prepares exam rooms, sterile trays, biopsy equipment, specimens, and ancillary equipment within scope of practice.
• Rooms patients, provides dressing and exam instructions, supports patient pre-screening, and confirms basic patient information prior to imaging studies.
• Escorts and transports patients, provides comfort during procedures, and supervises patients post-procedure as needed.
• Performs pre/post procedure calls and scheduling to support patient readiness and department workflow.
