Job summary

Bozeman Health in Bozeman, MT, seeks an Acute Care MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, produce diagnostic images, and support radiologists in interpreting studies. You will operate the MRI scanner, adjust imaging parameters, optimize image quality, and minimize patient exposure while ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will collaborate with physicians and nursing staff, maintain documentation, and assist with training peers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent.
• ARRT certification.
• Certified MRI Technician certification.
• Current AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI exams and procedures for NICU, CCU, ED and other hospital departments as requested by medical staff.
• Assists Radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures.
• Performs ancillary duties to maintain distribution, billing, and archival of exams.
• Completes documentation for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
• Retrieves and files exam jackets, written orders, and related health information.
