Job summary

Bozeman Health Acute Care CT Technologist sought to perform CT procedures and produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. You will operate the CT scanner, adjust scanning parameters, and contribute to patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This role requires CAHEA-accredited radiology education, ARRT CT registry, BLS, and at least two years of radiology experience. You may work with NICU, CCU, and ED teams, supporting quality improvement and peer training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent.
• ARRT R.T.(R) & advanced registry in CT, R.T.(CT).
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Two (2) years of radiology experience as a registered technologist.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT exams for NICU, CCU, ED and other hospital departments as requested by the medical staff.
• Assists the Radiologist and other medical staff during exams and procedures.
• Performs ancillary duties to maintain distribution, billing, and archiving of exams and procedures.
• Completes documentation for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
• Retrieves written orders and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of exams.
• Participates in quality indicators as described in the strategic plan.
• Works independently in a highly complex, acute care inpatient setting.
• Trains and supports peers.
• Other related duties as assigned.
