Job summary

The Radiology Surgical Technologist at Bozeman Health provides specialized radiologic services to support surgical procedures and diagnostic imaging. You will perform radiographic, fluoroscopic, and CT‑guided imaging to assist surgeons and radiologists.

This role collaborates with surgical and radiology teams, ensures safe imaging practices, and supports sterile field preparation and patient positioning during procedures, contributing to patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA‑accredited radiology program.
• Current Montana Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams and fluoroscopic procedures as requested.
• Provide intraoperative imaging support with C‑arm fluoroscopy for surgeries.
• Collaborate with radiologists and surgical staff to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Assist with patient education regarding preparation and post‑procedure care.
• Document interpretation, reporting, archiving, and billing as required.
• Maintain imaging equipment and sterile fields during procedures.
• Educate radiology students and new staff on techniques.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety monitoring, and metrics.
