Job summary

Bozeman Health is seeking a Multi-Modality Radiology Technologist to perform MRI, CT, and X-ray exams with high quality and efficiency. You will operate independently, ensure timely reporting and archiving, and support hospital quality initiatives across NICU, CCU and ED as required.

The role requires ARRT CT and MRI advanced certifications, Montana licensure, and BLS. Two years of radiology and CT/MRI experience are expected, with opportunities to train peers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent with competencies in Radiology, CT and MRI.
• Montana Licensure (Radiologic Technologist).
• ARRT advanced certification in both CT and MRI.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Two (2) years of previous radiology experience.
• Two (2) years of previous CT and/or MRI experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality MRI, CT, and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures for all patient populations, to include NICU, CCU & ED as requested by medical staff.
• Operates independently, with limited to no supervision, while maintaining high attention to detail, customer needs, and high reliability.
• Assists medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as may be requested and appropriate.
• Performs ancillary duties as required to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures.
• Completes documentation, in designated area, of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
• Retrieves written orders and related health information to ensure the timely performance and reporting of exams and procedures.
• Participates in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of the hospital quality indicators as described in the strategic plan.
• Expectation to support and train peers.
• Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job description

The Multi-Modality Radiology Technologist delivers high quality MRI, CT, and X-Ray exams to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Independently Performs MRI, CT, and X-Ray procedures, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.

Required

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent, and documented competencies in Radiology, CT and MRI
• Montana Licensure (Radiologic Technologist)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) advanced certification in both CT & MRI
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Two (2) years of previous radiology experience
• Two (2) years of previous CT and/or MRI experience

Preferred

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in health care related studies

Schedule Requirements

• This role requires regular and sustained attendance.
• The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
