Legacy Health in Oregon is seeking an Imaging Support Specialist to support imaging departments with clerical, data entry, and patient services. The role includes assisting in outpatient admissions, scheduling, PACS image import/export, and coordinating exam workflows.

You will interact with patients and staff, perform filing and data tasks, and ensure accurate communication of results. A high school diploma is required; one year radiology experience is preferred, and BLS certification may be

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year radiology or related medical experience preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Good keyboard skills; able to navigate electronic systems.
Filing skills; knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsabilités

Perform a variety of clerical, data-entry and support functions related to imaging operations.
Assist in outpatient admissions and order entry, exam scheduling and coordination.
Import/export medical images into PACS and manage document scanning and film file room operations.
Handle phone/fax communications of results and provide general customer service.
Provide general clerical support across imaging departments and assist with patient transportation when needed.
