Job summary

Southern California Orthopedic Institute is seeking a detail-oriented Radiology Support staff member to import radiologic exams into Care Connect and digitize outside films for PACS. You will assist the Radiology department, handle image and report requests, and coordinate with physicians for upcoming procedures.

Ideal candidates have 6–12 months related experience, familiarity with SCOI systems, and strong communication skills. Health coverage and vacation benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to use SCOI Database and Word Processing software.

Responsibilities

• Imports all CDs into PACS/CC.
• Digitizes all outside films into PACS/CC.
• Burns CDs for physicians and patients on request.
• Assists Radiology answering phones.
• Handles image and report requests.
• Prepares and communicates with physician team for surgeries.
