Qualifications

• GED or HSED or high school diploma required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
• Competent in IV insertion and venipuncture per department need.
• Strong communication and customer service skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in preparation for exams and transport between rooms.
• Use radiology systems to generate requisitions, check schedules, and retrieve patient data.
• Organize and prepare exam rooms; stock supplies and maintain equipment.
• Greet patients and visitors, answer calls, schedule appointments and take messages.
• Act as liaison between ordering physician, radiologist, and technologist.
• Provide radiology reports/images to staff, physicians, patients and families on request.
• Document information and communicate observations to the health care team.
