Job summary

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami is seeking an Imaging & Radiology student aide who is actively enrolled in an approved imaging program. Under supervision, you will support the Imaging Technologist and radiologist, assist with procedures, and help maintain a safe, organized work environment.

This temporary position provides hands-on experience during clinical rotations and fosters compassionate, family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited imaging program and completed at least one clinical rotation.
• American Heart Association BLS required within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Assist imaging technologists and radiologists during procedures.
• Enter information into PACs system when needed.
• Prepare patients and imaging rooms for examinations.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment and restock supplies.
• Greet patients and families and communicate services.
