Job summary

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited imaging program and completed at least one clinical rotation.
• American Heart Association BLS required within 30 days of hire and maintained in good standing.
• Ability to relate well to children and families in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones, takes and relates messages, and provides responses when able.
• Assists imaging technologist and radiologist with procedures as needed.
• Enters information in the PACS system as required.
• Follows hospital patient-identification policy prior to examinations.
• Maintains the cleanliness and safety of the work area.
• Performs imaging duties as needed and prepares patients for exams.
• Prepares imaging rooms and stocks supplies; disinfection and waste handling.
• Greets patients, families, and visitors and communicates NCH services.
