Job summary

Nicklaus Children’s Imaging & Radiology is seeking an Imaging Student Intern – W. Kendall (Per Diem, Days) to support imaging operations under supervision.

The role involves patient prep, room setup, and assistance with imaging procedures as students transition to Imaging Tech upon graduation. The position is temporary as students rotate through accredited imaging programs, with reclassification to Imaging Tech required after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited imaging program with at least one clinical rotation.
• BLS (American Heart Association) required within 30 days of hire and maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist imaging technologist and radiologist during procedures.
• Prepare patients and imaging rooms for exams.
• Enter information into PACS system.
• Greet patients and families and provide patient support.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment.
