Job summary

Miami Children’s Hospital is seeking an Imaging Support professional to assist the Imaging Team in a pediatric setting. You will help prep patients, gather supplies, and maintain a clean, safe environment for exams.

This is a temporary assignment; after completion of an accredited imaging program rotation, reclassification to Imaging Tech is required. Strong communication with families and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited imaging program and completed at least one clinical rotation.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones, takes and relates messages.
• Assists imaging technologist and radiologist with procedures.
• Enters information in PACS system.
• Prepares patients and imaging rooms for examinations.
• Stocks imaging rooms with supplies and maintains a clean work area.
• Greets patients and families and communicates information about NCH services.
