Miami Children’s Hospital Imaging & Radiology is seeking an Imaging Student Assistant to support the team under the supervision of an Imaging Technologist. You will help with patient prep, room setup, and basic imaging duties while maintaining a safe, family-centered environment.

This temporary role requires enrollment in an accredited imaging program with at least one clinical rotation and BLS certification within 30 days of hire; strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in an accredited imaging program and completed at least one clinical rotation.
• American Heart Association BLS required within 30 days of hire and maintained in good standing.

Aufgaben

• Answer phones, relay messages and respond when able.
• Assist imaging technologist and radiologist with procedures as needed.
• Enter information into PACS as required.
• Follow patient-identification policy before examinations.
• Prepare patients/parents for imaging exams and room readiness.
• Maintain clean and stocked imaging rooms and equipment.
• Greet patients and families, provide information about services and timely support.
