Job summary

Mercy Health West Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging under supervision, ensuring patient safety and quality images for physicians.

The role requires ARRT certification (Diagnostic Radiology) and state licensure preferred; one year radiology experience preferred; EPIC/EHR experience desirable.

You will work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with modern imaging equipment and opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred from ARRT accredited institute.
• ARRT Diagnostic Radiology certification is required.
• State licensure preferred where the work is performed.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with imaging equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and protect against unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Obtain clinical history and necessary lab work for accurate imaging.
• Verify informed consent and complete pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic procedures and aseptic technique.
