Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Supervisor of Imaging to lead daily radiology operations, coordinate services across assigned areas, and ensure compliant, high-quality imaging care. The role collaborates with imaging personnel, inter-disciplinary teams, and facility leadership to optimize the patient experience.

The position requires an Associate degree in Radiography, ARRT/ARDMS/NMTC certifications, BLS, and at least 2 years of clinical imaging experience. EPIC EHR familiarity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides an environment of open communication and support among all team members.
• Creates an inclusive culture of learning and supporting the growth of associates.
• Monitors associate behaviors and goals to ensure alignment with KPIs and takes corrective action when warranted.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards per Joint Commission, ACR, State DOH and NCR.
• Promotes and initiates performance improvement activities.
• Manages patient flow and technologist hours to maintain quality radiology services.
• Plans and conducts regular and specialized in-service training programs.
• Recommends staffing levels and ensures staff are qualified.
• Recommends department operating and capital budget with cost-effective measures.
