Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Supervisor of Imaging to coordinate daily radiology operations across assigned areas and assure high-quality care. The role collaborates with imaging staff, interdisciplinary teams, facility leadership, and Medical/Director of Imaging to meet professional and regulatory standards.

The position requires an AS degree in radiography, ARRT/ARDMS/NMTC certification, BLS, and 2 years of clinical imaging experience, with Epic EHR familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates in Applied Science of Radiography is required.
• ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTC certification/registration is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• State licensure is preferred unless required by state.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical imaging experience is required.
• Experience with Advanced Imaging Technologies and EPIC EHR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides an environment of open communication and support among all team members.

• Monitors associate behaviors and goals to align with the Key Performance Metrics and takes corrective action.
• Utilizes knowledge to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards per Joint Commission, ACR, and state NCR requirements.
• Promotes and initiates performance improvement activities.
• Manages patient flow and technologist hours to maintain the needs of quality radiology services.
• Plans and conducts regular and specialized in-service training programs.
• Recommends staffing levels and ensures staff qualifications.
• Assists with department operating and capital budgeting while implementing cost-effective measures.
