Job summary

Olympic Medical Center on Washington's North Olympic Peninsula seeks an Imaging Services Representative I/II to manage patient intake, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and accurately enter data across systems for outpatient imaging services.

Qualifications

• Imaging Services Rep I requires 1 year office/reception experience, preferably in health care.
• Imaging Services Rep II requires ISR I experience or 3 years equivalent experience at another organization.
• High school graduate or equivalent is required; medical terminology knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive patients, collect demographic and insurance information, verify coverage and authorizations.
• Enter data into multiple computer systems for outpatient admission processing.
• Discuss financial responsibility with patients and verify insurance and referrals.
