Job summary

Intelas, a Compass Healthcare company, delivers smarter asset management for hospitals, supporting 4,500 sites nationwide and over 1.15 million devices. We seek a BMET Technician to perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and repairs on imaging and related equipment, while providing on-call support and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will diagnose equipment issues, coordinate with manufacturers, and document QA records, contributing to high uptime and patient care.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics/Imaging Technology or Biomedical Equipment Technology.
• Prior biomedical equipment experience is preferred.
• Ability to work with imaging modalities and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventive maintenance and calibrations per standards.
• Conduct major repairs by replacing components and readjust using proper tools.
• Assist with diagnostic imaging cross training for BMET Technicians.
• Coordinate with manufacturers to resolve equipment issues.
• Provide emergency on-call coverage as needed.
• Research and initiate orders for repair parts within budget.
• Document asset actions and maintain QA records per policies.
• Comply with all department practices and perform BMET III duties.
