Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a scheduling administrator to manage daily radiology schedules and serve as the central contact for add-on procedures. You will coordinate with referring physicians, radiologists, and patients to ensure timely appointments.

The role requires at least 2 years of administrative experience and preference for imaging scheduling background; BCLS certification is a plus in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualificações

• 2 years of administrative/clerical experience required.
• Imaging scheduling experience preferred.
• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Optimizes daily all modality schedules by being the central point of contact for all add on procedures.
• Facilitates communications between referring physicians and radiologists.
• Follows-up with patient to reschedule appointments for those who do not show or cancel appointments.
• Operates and utilizes the Scheduler Program in the hospital scheduling system
• Proactively identifies open timeslots and contacts patients and referrers to backfill slots.
• Builds relationships with referring offices to become central point of contact for immediate appointment availability.
• Fields referrers’ special requests for reports, unique protocols, follow-up, etc.
• Central contact for any technical recalls requested by the radiologist.
