Job summary

Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting patients, maintaining records, and assisting in pre-authorization processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Two years of related experience in call center, patient registration, or billing preferred.
• Experience with third party insurance terminology, CPT, ICD-9 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally and address needs efficiently.
• Answer phones and route messages as needed.
• Schedule tests and manage outpatient imaging appointments.
• Collect insurance information, co-pays, and patient balances.
• Obtain authorizations from insurers and verify benefits.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulations.
