Job summary

Wake Radiology UNC Health Rex is seeking a Radiology Scheduling Supervisor to lead centralized and MRI scheduling operations in-office in the North Hills area of Raleigh. You will oversee a team of 30+ schedulers, monitor performance metrics, and partner with Ancillary Services to coordinate across the imaging lifecycle.

The role requires 5+ years in healthcare with 3+ years in management, knowledge of radiology scheduling, HIPAA compliance, and experience with EPIC is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare experience with at least 3 years in management or supervisory role.
• Experience in radiology scheduling, centralized scheduling or high-volume call centers is essential.
• Familiarity with imaging terminology (MRI, CT, Mammography) and scheduling protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee centralized and MRI scheduling across multiple locations and 30+ schedulers.
• Track call volumes, response times, and abandonment rates to drive improvements.
• Mentor Senior Lead Schedulers and support leadership development; ensure HIPAA compliance.
