Responsibilities

• Schedules patient procedures in imaging, ultrasound, MRI, and CT.
• Coordinates with anesthesia groups for coverage.
• Verifies information in the system (name, DOB, gender, insurance).
• Ensures all necessary paperwork for patient add-ons is received.
• Communicates schedule changes to staff.
• Ensures all required fields in Cerner are completed.
• Promotes positive relationships with scheduling coordinators, physicians and nursing staff.
• Cross-trains with other departments.
