Cardiac Study Center, Inc. in Tacoma, WA is seeking an Imaging Medical Secretary to schedule and coordinate imaging appointments, maintain accurate records, and support the daily operations of our imaging department.

You will interact directly with patients, providers, and technologists to ensure seamless care and efficient clinic operations. The role requires strong computer skills, experience in a medical office, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in a medical office setting, preferably with scheduling responsibilities.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Schedule imaging appointments across modalities using EPIC and RIS.
• Coordinate urgent and STAT imaging requests with leads and providers.
• Answer and screen calls, providing excellent customer service.
• Review orders and histories to ensure correct protocols.
• Obtain and document patient demographics, insurance, and diagnosis; coordinate referrals.
• Ensure previous imaging records are available in PACS.
• Maintain templates, schedules, and protocols; communicate updates to team.
• Prepare requisitions with accurate ICD-10 codes and exam histories.
• Support daily department operations including QA and data management.
