Responsibilities

• Follow admitting policies and procedures. Perform admitting/administrative tasks to register patients of all ages to the hospital.
• Register and pre-register patients into the computer system from Outpatient Scheduling System or patient questionnaire.
• Verify patient insurance information and enter policy numbers, group numbers, and contact details.
• Coordinate booking and callbacks to patients; use EPIC scheduling to book exams; remind patients for prep.
• Maintain forms, assist with retrieving medical history and prior imaging; ensure HIPAA acknowledgement is completed.
