Qualifications

• Minimum of two years registration experience.
• Medical terminology knowledge.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Strong telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
• Insurance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register and pre-register patients accurately in EPIC.
• Verify demographics and obtain signatures with professionalism.
• Explain Mass Health Care Proxy to patients as needed.
• Coordinate booking and callbacks for imaging exams.
• Greet, escort and assist patients in a friendly manner.
• Maintain forms and handle printing tasks.
• Retrieve and manage patient medical history related to imaging services.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and privacy practices.
• Assists with scheduling and data entry across systems including EPIC and Visage.
• Support department by maintaining supplies and documentation.
