• Coordinate with imaging staff to prepare orders and appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate admitting and registration for Imaging patients, maintaining proficiency with billing systems.
• Provides pre-billing services including insurance info, estimates, and signatures; obtain pre-authorization when needed.
• Places orders for Imaging services with correct diagnosis and ICD coding.
• Answers busy department phones; assists with scheduling, report retrieval, and rescheduling.
• Prepares patients for exams and assists technologists and radiologists as needed.
