Job summary

Bozeman Health is seeking a Radiology Access Specialist to serve as the first line of defense for patient safety and exam accuracy. You will ensure orders for imaging are compliant with criteria and prior authorization, while performing complex scheduling for Diagnostic Imaging procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of medical office experience.
• Preferred: Associate Degree.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients with pre-examination information & materials including administration of contrast media.
• Communicates professionally with medical and Radiology staff to ensure quality care.
• Ability to triage when necessary
• Coordinates complex appointment schedules and patient management for exams and procedures
• Provides quality customer service
• Participate in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of the hospital quality indicators
• Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
